Established in 2001, Highpoint Center for Printmaking is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the art of printmaking. Its goals are to provide educational programs, community access, and collaborative publishing opportunities to engage the community and increase the appreciation and understanding of the printmaking arts. Highpoint Editions (HPE), the publishing arm of Highpoint, publishes fine art prints made by invited professional artists in collaboration with Highpoint Editions staff. The Highpoint Editions Studio has collaborated with some of the most significant artists of our time, including Julie Mehretu, Njideka Akuniyli Crosby, Dyani White Hawk, Do Ho Suh, Rico Gatson, and Carlos Amorales. HPE creates work spanning and combining many printmaking processes with an emphasis on experimentation.
