Jo Smail: Bees with Sticky Feet
Viewing Room Image 1
Mixing diverse cultural and biographical influences as multifarious as her life experiences, Smail draws upon aspects of her African past and Baltimore present, alongside a deep engagement with international literature, theory, and art history.
Elizabeth Talford Scott: Upside-Downwards
Viewing Room Image 2
Immersed and embedded within the lush surfaces of these works live personal and worldly narratives, and an alphabet of symbols that tell us as much about emotion as they do about personal history.
Timothy App: States of Mind
Viewing Room Image 3
Timothy App's signature style of geometric abstraction, with its assertive visual tensions, reveals a concise and thoughtful understanding of the nature of painting, demonstrating his status as one of the region's most important living painters.
Amalie R. Rothschild: Rock Icons & Images
Viewing Room Image 4
Amalie R. Rothschild: Rock Icons and Images documents the historic, iconic, turbulent, inventive, revolutionary and defining time of 1968-1971, experienced through one of that era's most transparent truthtellers: Music.

Viewing Room Image 5
