The Old Print Shop, Inc.

New York, NY

The Old Print Shop, Inc., has been a New York City destination since its opening in 1898. The gallery specializes in American art from 1700 to contemporary. Since 1921 its home is an unpretentious brownstone in the Murray Hill area of New York City. It has one of the largest collections available of American printmaking before 1900 and an extraordinary collection of American printmaking between 1900 and 1950. It represents over 75 living artists who use printmaking as one of their expressive mediums. The gallery is also well known for maps, especially maps published between 1500 and 1900. You will also find in its inventory, sculpture, drawings and paintings.
