Talk
On Saturday, September 5, 2:30 PM, Michael Taylor (Founder and Director of Paupers Press) will give a talk relating to the exhibition. FREE event, but booking essential – Find out more.
Although not a comprehensive survey, this exhibition shows how printmaking continues to work centrally to many artists’ practices and how print languages, some of which may be centuries old, still inform contemporary cultural practice.
Paupers Press is a fine art print and publishing studio that has worked with some of the UK’s most important and influential artists. The exhibition brings together works by Jake & Dinos Chapman, Mat Collishaw, Damien Hirst, Christopher Le Brun, Andrew Litten, Grayson Perry, Hughie O’Donoghue, Paula Rego, James Turrell, Samuel Bassett, Sarah Ball, Caroline Walker, Tracey Emin, Brian Eno and Chris Ofili.
The Mechanised Image: Forty Years of Paupers Press runs across both floors of Tremenheere Gallery and will be open Tuesday – Saturday, 11am – 4pm. Entry to the Gallery is free, with most works available to purchase.
