Crown Point Press presents Everywhere, A Summer Memory, a group exhibition that celebrates the essence of summer. The artists included in the exhibition are Mamma Andersson, Anne Appleby, Mary Hellmann, Robert Kushner, Tom Marioni, Jockum Nordström, Chris Ofili, Laura Owens, Janis Provisor, José Maria Sicilia, Patricia Treib, Rupy C. Tut, William T. Wiley, and John Zurier. The works selected do not represent summer in a literal sense, instead the works are radiant, breezy, and playful. Each artist takes a varied approach to color, form, and mood — still, they all present expressions of shared, universal summer experiences, such as having a beer on a hot day as seen in Beer with Lemon by Tom Marioni. Summer is a season of fun, and this exhibition is meant to capture that joyfulness that is characteristic of the season.
