Working at Pace Prints between 2007-2014, Walsh realized these works using a variety of printmaking techniques, including intaglio, screenprinting, woodcut, and monoprinting, to achieve his perception-shifting geometric patterns. Using a systemic, grid-based process, Walsh invokes the models of seriality, materiality, and modularity set forth by the Minimalists of the 1960s and 1970s.
