For generations or artists the ‘Muses’ as they are known today in the context of art can be anything from an object to a place, but they remain rooted in and inspired by the original nine Green Muses; who governed the spark of inspiration in the arts and sciences.

In this diverse exhibition, the artists explore the main themes or genres that have time and time again been the starting point for artists in the twentieth century. The ‘Muse’ transcends artistic movements, manifestos and eras, as we look at the source of inspiration.

Some of the featured artists include: Francis Bacon, George Braques, Marc Chagall, Otto Dix, Jacob Gildor, David Hockney, Henri Matisse, Emil Orlík, Pablo Picasso, Rufino Tamayo, Alexej von Jawlensky, and Sascha Wiederhold
