The exhibition goes in and out of different formats, with images that appear both on the wall and in artist books that, in turn, give rise to videos, giving the impression of a world that expands beyond the limits of the work or the exhibition. The inclusion of a hundred pieces of wood – the same columns, arches and ashlars that appear in the prints – also participates in this unfolding, here in three dimensions, while delving into the project’s connection with childhood.
If on the one hand the playful and childlike aspect invites joy and hope, on the other hand, here we are also haunted by the violence and destruction that are present in the prints, videos, and artist’s books.
