For the first part of the exhibition, entitled Past Present, Michael Craig-Martin (b. 1941) has turned his attention to art from the past. Over 15 prints by the artist pay homage to some of his favourite artists and artworks, including paintings by Leonardo da Vinci, Piero della Francesca, Georges Seurat, Caravaggio and Diego Velázquez. The second part of Past Present will feature new prints which take as their subject matter everyday objects. This includes three new prints depicting musical instruments, grouped together according to genre; classic, jazz and rock.
