The Redfern Gallery is pleased to present an online exhibition of paintings by Adrian Ryan (1920-1988).
We have selected works which showcase Ryan’s prolific career and versatile painting technique. Once described by Francis Bacon as “the best kept secret in the art world”, Ryan is represented in a number of major UK public collections and currently features in the exhibition Freud, Minton, Ryan: unholy trinity at the Victoria Art Gallery, Bath, (touring to Falmouth Art Gallery 25 September – 20 November).
