In 2016, the Frederick Hammersley Foundation initiated the Frederick Hammersley Artist Residency as part of the foundation’s mission to expand the public’s awareness of Hammersley’s art and life, promote the value of art in the life of the community, and support the advancement of artists’ education and creative processes.

All six Frederick Hammersley Artist Residency recipients will be exhibited together for the first time since the program’s inception. The extended residency offers the time for each artist to embrace the collaborative nature of lithography, fully giving themselves to the experiential process. Each artist’s unique approach to the medium provides something fresh and exciting to the realm of print.

The exhibition includes work by Maja Ruznic, Henni Alftan, Ellen Lesperance, Danielle Orchard, R. Luke DuBois, and Matthew Shlian.
